MESSAGE FROM HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT
It’s my eternal pleasure to welcome blissfully all the students and their parents to the School of Architecture at Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Engineering College Kangra at Nagrota Bagwan. This is the first and only State Govt. College imparting B. Architecture since the academic year 2017. It is approved by the Council of Architecture, (COA) New Delhi and dedicated entirely to teaching and training of 40 students per year in Architecture. In order to meet the new age demands, the institute is continuously upgrading the facilities and infrastructure especially the laboratories, boasts some of the finest equipment available in the profession of architecture.
Our vision is to provide cutting-edge architecture training to our students to facilitate their overall growth and development so that they become proficient architects on whom we can feel proud. We shall strive to improve public infrastructure through excellence in the practice and training of architecture.
The faculty boasts of highly qualified and experienced teachers and the School of Architecture has a very conducive academic environment. Adequate emphasis is laid on the development of an overall personality of the students for which co-curricular and extracurricular activities are held from time to time in the Institution. Our students are continuously gaining recognition in various facets of the profession and are making their family, institution, and society proud. I hope they continue to strive harder and perform better in the years to come to complete with the current needs in the AEC industry. As a Head School of Architecture, I extend a warm invitation to all the aspirants for joining this institute to pursue their career in Architecture education to be a part of this endeavor.
